Shah Rukh Khan has been shooting nonstop! After putting in a lot of time on the action film “Pathan,” the actor is ready to move on to his next endeavour. While he has yet to confirm it, SRK will shortly begin filming for Tamil director Atlee’s next film. According to a news portal, SRK finished filming for “Pathan” in Mumbai and the team is currently working on an overseas shoot schedule, while the actor is focusing on his next project.
Atlee, on the other hand, has established himself as one of Tamil cinema’s most bankable commercial filmmakers, having scored a blockbuster hit with his debut film, ‘Raja Rani.’ He later worked with Thalapathy Vijay in three films in a row, ‘Theri,’ ‘Mersal,’ and ‘Bigil,’ all of which were enormous box office hits.
We’ve been bringing you all the latest updates on Atlee’s upcoming Bollywood film, which stars Shah Rukh Khan and is produced by his company Red Chillies Entertainment. Nayanthara is set to play the leading lady with Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover also joining the cast, and A.R. Rahman is set to compose the music.
The newest speculation is that the film would be titled ‘Jawaan,’ and that it will be set in an army base, with SRK playing two characters. The initial ten days of shooting will take place in Pune in September, with the team then flying abroad for the majority of the shoot. Stay tuned for the actual announcement, which will be accompanied by a teaser.
