Saif Ali Khan’s stabbing case takes a big turn as Mumbai Police files a 1000-page chargesheet linking accused Shariful Islam through knife and fingerprint evidence.

Mumbai Police has filed a 1000-page chargesheet in the Saif Ali Khan stabbing case. The chargesheet names Shariful Islam as the main accused. It includes strong forensic evidence, CCTV footage, fingerprint reports, and eyewitness statements.

The case grabbed national attention earlier this year. Saif was stabbed inside his own Mumbai home. Police said the attacker entered the house to rob it. He didn’t know the house belonged to Saif Ali Khan. The actor got stabbed several times and suffered injuries to his back, wrist, and other parts of his body.

Forensic Report Strengthens Shariful Islam’s Involement In Saif Ali Khan Attack

Police found three pieces of a knife – one at the crime scene, one from Saif’s body, and one with the accused. Forensic tests confirmed all three came from the same weapon.

Mumbai Police said, “This chargesheet carries strong forensic links.” They also confirmed that the accused’s fingerprint matched the one found at the scene.

Police also collected CCTV footage from nearby areas and spoke to witnesses. These details support the case further. Shariful Islam was caught soon after the attack.

Police Believes New Evidence Will Take The Case To Trial

The incident happened in January. Fans were shocked, and the film industry was left shaken. Saif made a quick recovery and attended a Netflix event in February. His appearance reassured many.

Police believe the evidence is strong enough to take the case to trial. They are ready with forensic findings, surveillance footage, and eyewitness support. Islam remains in custody and will now face legal proceedings.

The next few weeks could be crucial. The court will now review all the evidence. A case that began with horror may soon head towards justice.
