Film Went On Floors Recently In Mumbai
According to reports, the film has officially begun shooting with the OG trio Akshay Kumar as Raju, Suniel Shetty as Shyam, and Paresh Rawal as Babu Bhaiya. It is being said that they have already shot their first scene together.
A source close to the production told Hindustan Times, “Yes, it’s true. The first scene was indeed shot today with Akshay, Suniel, and Paresh, who will be bringing back the memories of their iconic roles.” Fans have waited years to hear this.
Priyadarshan is directing this film. He also directed the original Hera Pheri, which became a cult classic. For a long time, the sequel was stuck. Reports earlier said Farhad Samji would direct the film, but legal issues and other delays caused a major pause. Now, Priyadarshan has stepped in and Firoz Nadiadwala is producing it.

Priyadarshan spoke about the challenge ahead. “I plan to start work, start writing Hera Pheri 3 sometime next year. It is going to be very challenging to make the third part because there will be too many expectations. People are waiting to see Akshay, Paresh and Suniel again,” he said.
He also shared how tricky it is to make people laugh in today’s world. He added, “We always say that it is easy to make people cry, it is easy to scare people but to make them laugh is very difficult… humour also changes, and the taste of the society changes.”.
