Mohit Suri Returns with YRF Love Saga Saiyaara
Mohit Suri, known for his soul-stirring romantic dramas like Aashiqui 2 and Hamari Adhuri Kahani, is back – this time, he is also collaborating with Yash Raj Films, for the very first time, on a new love story, Saiyaara. Starring the fresh faces Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, the teaser for the film was released to a very enthusiastic audience on May 30, 2023, and the internet has been buzzing with love ever since.

The teaser has set off a lot of curiosity – not only are fans excited about the introduction of 2 new faces, but also that Mohit Suri recently shared that Saiyaara is his homage to some of the real-life romances he has been fortunate enough to encounter over the years.

“I have been lucky enough to meet so many people (YRF team) who were kind enough to share their wonderful love stories with me,” he commented.
As Saiyaara traverses a musical romance featuring a rockstar (Ahaan Panday) and a mysterious young woman (Aneet Padda), Suri teases heartbreak, passion, and metamorphosis at the heart of the film.

Fans swarmed social media, commenting that it’s “the most awaited launch of 2025”, and Bollywood celebs also shared their uncontainable excitement.

What the Teaser Promises
From the teaser, it looks like Ahaan embodies some charisma of a rock star whose world dramatically changes after he meets Aneet’s character. What’s in shot for the audience! The film looks like it will feature intense romance, emotional rollercoasters, and a twist that turns the fairytale upside down.
The title track has also caught the attention of fans — many demanding it be released immediately — and they also called it “Mohit Suri’s next chartbuster”.

Saiyaara marks the first collaboration between Mohit Suri and YRF, pairing two masters of cinematic romance under one roof. The film will be released on July 18, 2025, in theatres.
