Salman Khan Strips Off On Bigg Boss 20, Slams Trolling Over Bald Look And Body Shaming

Salman Khan turned Bigg Boss 20’s latest Weekend Ka Vaar into one of his most personal episodes in recent memory, using the national platform to take direct aim at trolling, body shaming and the obsessive scrutiny around his changing appearance. What began as a routine address to the housemates quickly escalated into a blunt, emotional takedown of online abuse. The superstar even took off his hat and shirt on stage to make his point.

Salman Khan Calls Out Troll Culture

Addressing the contestants, Salman recalled how vicious online abuse can go far beyond a passing comment on social media. He said, “8-9 years there was this boy, he would write such stuff, we caught him through cyber cell and we reached at his place. We saw that his mother was a teacher, father was professor, sister was going to some nice school. All I told him that should I do it too? I will show the face behind the faceless account that you have been using and reveal your family. Should i do it?”

He then widened the discussion to the way women in the industry are photographed and discussed online, urging them to push back against invasive behaviour. Salman said, “Mahhi you must have seen these. There are these paps who click photos of the actresses from back shots, they focus on their legs, thighs and hips. This is so bad, what is this mentality? My Dabangg co-actress, that young girl Sai feels so awkward with that. Neha Dhupia has also flagged it, even my niece has gone through it. I am saying this to all women, call them out. Who gave such people are press card. What is their mentality, some people are there who are comfortable with it. But 90 percent of them aren’t.”

The Shirtless Moment On Stage

The sharpest moment came when Salman responded to mockery over his physique, age and bald look. In full view of the housemates, he removed his hat and shirt and said, “You guys want to troll me, I will show you. No abs, see my look, you want to troll me now? Go on troll me.”

He followed it up with a distinction between genuine concern and casual cruelty, saying, “Showing concern that bhai you look unwell, you have lost weight is different. But mocking Sohail and Varun over their looks? That is wrong.”

Addressing the chatter around his shaved head, Salman added, “And this bald look, its for a project. What are these comments on he is getting hair transplant, takla hogaya hai, ha ho gaya hoon. A friend of mine passed away two months back.” He then said, “These kind of people constantly commenting on one’s looks are parasites and we need to wipe this out. You don’t like the film, don’t watch it. We give it our best so that you all enjoy the film, you bought the ticket to watch our film, you haven’t bought us.”

That on-air clarification also gave the episode a clear professional context, linking the intense public reaction around his appearance to work rather than gossip.

Salman Khan’s Recent And Upcoming Work

Salman’s most recent confirmed film release was Sikandar in 2025, while Bigg Boss 20, which premiered on September 6, 2026, has kept him in front of audiences through a very different format, one where his off-screen personality often becomes part of the story itself.

His mention that the bald look is for a project places the makeover within his current work commitments. Another confirmed title on his slate is Raja Shivaji, where he is attached in a special appearance. In that sense, the latest Bigg Boss 20 episode did more than deliver a fiery response to trolls. It also saw Salman draw a firm line between public curiosity and personal ridicule, while making it clear that not every visible change deserves mockery.
