Salman Khan’s upcoming action film Sikandar is set for a grand release on March 30, 2025. However, the promotional plans have taken a major shift due to security concerns. Salman will not make many public appearances and will focus on digital promotions instead.
Sikandar Grand Trailer Launch Event Cancelled?
A Pinkvilla report reveals that the makers initially planned a massive trailer launch event with 30,000 fans. However, due to Salman’s restricted movements, the event has been cancelled.
Instead, the trailer will now be released digitally on either March 23 or 24. Advance bookings for Sikandar will open right after the trailer launch.
Salman Khan Goes All-Digital For Promotions
Despite the challenges, Salman is determined to keep the buzz alive. He will connect with fans through digital platforms, ensuring excitement remains high before the film’s theatrical release.
Director AR Murugadoss recently confirmed that the final edit of Sikandar is locked. The film runs for about 2 hours and 20 minutes, with the first half lasting 1 hour and 15 minutes, and the second half running for 1 hour and 5 minutes. It has been sent to CBFC for the certification process.
Murugadoss said Sikandar is not just an action film. It has deep emotions and will connect with Salman Khan’s fans, general audiences, and families. The film is packed with action, but its emotional story makes it special.
The film’s soundtrack has already generated excitement. The latest track, “Sikandar Naache” is a peppy dance number featuring Salman and Rashmika Mandanna. Other songs, including the festive “Zohra Jabeen” and the energetic Holi anthem “Bam Bam Bhole” have added to the anticipation.
Alongside Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna, Sikandar cast also includes Sathyaraj, Prateik Babbar, Kajal Aggarwal, and Sharman Joshi. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film promises to deliver action, emotions, and entertainment on a grand scale.
