Somy Ali, the former girlfriend of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, is making headlines again. In a recent interview with IANS, she opened up about her past relationship with him and compared him unfavourably to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. She claimed he is “worse” than Bishnoi.
Somy and Salman were reportedly together for about eight years. She recently spoke about the abusive nature of their relationship.
Somy Ali On Why She Is Not On Good Terms With Salman
Revealing why she doesn’t share a cordial relationship with Sallman, she said, “Because the way Salman treated me, he did not treat anyone else. Sangeeta and Katrina were not half as badly abused by him as I was.”
In the interview, Somy recalled specific incidents that highlighted the severity of her experience with Khan. She mentioned his history of abuse, including an alleged incident involving Aishwarya Rai.
She stated, “He abused Aishwarya very badly. I think he had fractured Aishwarya’s shoulder. But I am not sure what he did to Katrina”
Actress On Salman Physically Abusing Her
The discussion became more personal as Somy shared a story about a time when Salman physically harmed her. She revealed that his household members begged him to stop the violence.
She said, “Tabu saw my condition and cried badly but Salman did not come to see me.”
Somy mentioned that most people were unaware of her struggles. Only her mother and a few close friends knew how much she had suffered. She is now writing a book that will explore her past relationship with Salman & offer more details about her experiences.
For the unversed, Somy is an actress and social worker who was active in Bollywood during the 90s. She dated Salman for nearly eight years. Their relationship ended when he began seeing Aishwarya Rai, and she left India in 1999. Somy now runs an NGO called “No More Tears,” where she helps victims of human trafficking and domestic violence.
