Bollywood’s classic romantic musical Dil To Pagal Hai is making a comeback in cinemas. Yash Raj Films (YRF) has confirmed that the 1997 hit will be re-released in PVR INOX theatres across India. Fans can relive the nostalgia starting February 28.
YRF Announces Return Of SRK’s Dil Toh Pagal Hai
YRF announced the news on Instagram and wrote, “Dil To Pagal Hai is back in theatres this week! Experience the magic and romance once again, 28th February onwards at @pvrcinemas_official @inoxmovies.”
Directed by Yash Chopra, Dil To Pagal Hai remains a Bollywood romance favourite. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit, and Karisma Kapoor in a love triangle filled with passion and dreams.
With unforgettable songs, stunning dance sequences, and iconic dialogues, it continues to hold a special place in fans’ hearts. The re-release will bring back memories for those who watched it in theatres and introduce its charm to a new generation.
Bollywood’s Re-Release Trend
The return of Dil To Pagal Hai is part of Bollywood’s growing trend of re-releasing classics. Films like Sanam Teri Kasam, Tumbbad, Laila Majnu, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Veer Zaara, and Rehna Hai Terre Dil Mein have all made their way back to cinemas, bringing nostalgia to fans.
On 28 February, Raanjhanaa, starring Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor, will also be re-released alongside Dil To Pagal Hai. The trend continues on 7 March with Lootera, starring Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha, and the Marathi blockbuster Baipan Bhari Deva by Jio Studios and Kedar Shinde.
