Shah Rukh Khan is making headlines, but it’s not for a film this time. He has reportedly rented two luxury duplex apartments in Mumbai’s upscale Pali Hill area.
The properties have been leased from the Bhagnani family and come with a massive rental cost of Rs 8.7 crore for a three-year term.
Shah Rukh Khan Rents Two Lavish Apartments In Mumbai
According to a Hindustan Times report, the superstar’s new duplexes are located in the Puja Casa building (the first, second, seventh, and eighth floors). Official property records accessed by Zapkey.com show that both transactions were finalised on February 14, 2025.
The first duplex is rented from Jackky Bhagnani and his sister Deepshikha Deshmukh, with a monthly rent of Rs 11.54 lakh. SRK has also deposited Rs 32.97 lakh as security.
The second apartment leased from renowned producer Vashu Bhagnani comes at an even higher price. The monthly rent is set at Rs 12.61 lakh, with a security deposit of Rs 36 lakh.
Additionally, the deal required a stamp duty of Rs 2.22 lakh and a registration fee of Rs 2,000. However, neither the Bhagnani family nor Shah Rukh Khan’s team has commented on the matter.
SRK Is Gearing Up For King Shoot
On the work front, SRK is preparing for his highly anticipated action film King. This project is special as it will be his first onscreen collaboration with his daughter Suhana Khan. Suhana made her acting debut in 2023 with The Archies, and now she’s set to share the big screen with her superstar father.
The film also features Abhishek Bachchan as the antagonist with Siddharth Anand directing. A source close to the production shared, “It’s the most explosive action written for a Hindi film. SRK and Sid plan to shoot action blocks of King all across the globe, and they have already done recce for the same at several virgin locations.”
With the shooting expected to begin in March, King is expected to be one of the most-awaited action thrillers of 2026.
