Shah Rukh Khan has set the stage for IPL 2025 with Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) new jersey. The Bollywood superstar and team’s owner shared a promo on Instagram.
SRK unveiled a fresh design for the defending champions. The jersey features three golden stars on the crest, representing KKR’s title wins in 2012, 2014, and 2024.

The promo showcases KKR stars like Rinku Singh, Manish Pandey, Venkatesh Iyer, Luvnith Sisodia, Mayank Markande, Vaibhav Arora, Ramandeep Singh, and Anukul Roy in the purple and gold kit. A golden IPL badge on the arm highlights their champion status.
Sharing the video, SRK wrote, “New season. New look. The three stars on our crest are here. Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo.” Fans flooded social media with excitement as KKR gears up for IPL 2025.
Ajinkya Rahane Takes The Captaincy
This season, KKR is not just introducing a new jersey but also a new captain. Ajinkya Rahane will lead the team with Venkatesh Iyer as vice-captain. The franchise will kick off its campaign against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at Eden Gardens.
KKR’s leadership changes follow a major coaching reshuffle. With Gautam Gambhir, Abhishek Nayar, and Ryan ten Doeschate moving to international roles, the team has appointed Chandrakant Pandit as head coach, Bharat Arun as bowling coach, and Dwayne Bravo as mentor.
KKR has established its place as a powerhouse in IPL history. The new jersey pays tribute to its success, while the team looks to defend its title with a fresh strategy.
