Shah Rukh Khan‘s upcoming film, Jawan, has been creating a lot of buzz in the Indian film industry. The film was initially scheduled to release on June 2, 2023, but due to post-production delays, the release date was pushed. We reported this delay in month of March though few self proclaimed ‘experts’ kept the rumour alive of 2nd June release.
Yesterday again rumour floated that Jawan will release in August and most probably on 25th August. Today all day rumour mill were in overdrive for August release but again it seems that these were just rumours.
Shah Rukh Khan Starrer Jawan Will Be Janmashtami Release
The film has been delayed further and will now release on 7th September 2023. Shah Rukh Khan reportedly wants to take advantage of Janmashtami holiday which will fall on Wednesday/Thursday (6th or 7th September). Also there is no major release till Salaarstarring Prabhas in end of September. After that at end of 2nd week, film will get benefit of Ganesh Chaturthi.

Shah Rukh Khan announced today release date of 7th September and got engaged in Ask SRK with fans. He replied on varied topics from massive production of Jawan due to which film got delayed, filmography of Atlee, his favourite singer Arijit Singh and making larger than life films with lot of hard work.
