It’s all good news for Disney/Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 as the threequel is on its way to a $260M+ global debut. Through Friday, it has grossed $119.7M worldwide. Of that, $71.5M is from the international box office. That latter number should grow to $150M+ when Saturday and Sunday are factored.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 could be the next box office hit now! The film has managed to impress the fans worldwide, especially in India. It even has the potential to surpass the opening weekend gross of John Wick: Chapter 4 and The Super Mario Bros. The Marvel film opened with a bang in India and collected Rs 7.50 crore on May 5. On Day 6, it minted even better numbers.

For Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3, director James Gunn returns to the MCU for the second film in phase 5 of the MCU. On its opening day, the film reportedly earned Rs 7.50 crore in India. On Day 2, May 6, it earned even better numbers as it collected Rs 8.50 in a single day. Hence, the total collection now stands at Rs 16 crore.
