Bollywood is buzzing with talk of another blockbuster showdown. After the highly anticipated Diwali 2024 clash between Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, could Eid 2026 bring a new level of excitement? Rumour has it that Shah Rukh Khan’s King might go head-to-head with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love And War. Will these two cinematic giants actually face off at the box office, or is it just speculation? Read on to find out!
Both King & Love And War Reported To Release On Eid 2026
Sources have revealed that the two Bollywood biggies are eyeing an Eid 2026 release for their respective films. Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for an action-packed extravaganza with King, promising to deliver a high-octane experience to audiences.
Meanwhile, Bhansali’s Love And War is expected to be a grand spectacle, adding to the excitement for the Eid weekend.
A source shared with Bollywood Hungama, “King is an out-and-out action film and Shah Rukh Khan is confident to serve the audience with a potboiler during the Eid 2026 weekend. Just minutes after his decision went digitally, Sanjay Leela Bhansali also took no time to announce the new release date of Love And War. Incidentally, even Love And War got announced for an Eid release.”
Both films aim to capitalise on the extended holiday period, which includes Eid, Ram Navami, and Good Friday. “SLB was thinking of an Eid 2026 release for the longest time and it’s just a mere coincidence that the thought process coincided with SRK. As they say, great minds think alike, and there is no denying the fact that both SRK & SLB are two of the greatest cinematic minds,” the source added.
Clash Between Shah Rukh Khan & Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Film Unlikely
It’s essential to note that these plans are purely speculative at this stage. The shoots for both King and Love & War have not yet commenced, making it possible that either film could adjust its schedule.
In fact, King has yet to announce an official shooting or release date. Given these uncertainties, the potential clash is highly unlikely to materialise as planned.
As the excitement builds for this potential blockbuster face-off, fans and industry insiders alike will be keeping a close eye on developments.
Whether this anticipated clash will happen or face delays remains to be seen. For now, it’s a thrilling prospect that adds anticipation to Bollywood’s film calendar.
