SHOCKING! Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava Screening Disrupted As Drunk Man Destroys Screen To ‘Attack’ Aurangzeb In Bharuch

Chhaava screening at a theatre in Bharuch was temporarily halted after a drunk man vandalised the screen in an attempt to attack Aurangzeb.

A screening of Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava took an unexpected turn in Bharuch when a man caused chaos at RK Cinemas. The incident happened during the final show on Sunday night at 11:45 PM.

The man (identified as Jayesh Vasava) was reportedly drunk when he stormed the theatre. He damaged the theatre screen with a fire extinguisher and tore it apart, creating a mess in the cinema.

Police from Bharuch A Division Police Station said that Vasava became emotional during a scene showing the execution of Sambhaji Maharaj by Aurangzeb. In his outburst, he tried to ‘attack Aurangzeb’ on the screen. The cinema staff quickly intervened and stopped him from causing further damage. The police confirmed his arrest the next day.

Cinema’s Reaction To This Incident During Chhaava Screening

RK Cinema’s general manager RV Sood spoke about the damage and the disruption. He told a media outlet, “I received a call from the staff of Bluechip Cinema about the vandalism. We immediately removed the man from the auditorium to prevent more harm. The damage is estimated to be around Rs 1.5 lakh. Monday’s screenings were affected, but we prioritised repairs and hoped to resume operations by night.”

To manage the disruption, the cinema offered audience members two choices: they could either get a refund or continue watching the film in a different auditorium. Some people chose to leave with a refund, while others stayed and watched the movie on another screen.

Theatre Owners Take Legal Action

Following the incident, the cinema filed a police complaint. The complaint mentioned that Vasava verbally abused a female staff member and threatened the staff.

As a result, he has been charged with property damage and using inappropriate language under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

Additionally, a separate case was filed against him for breaking the Prohibition Act, as he was intoxicated at the time.

Talking about the film, Chhaava also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna, Divya Dutta and Diana Penty in key roles.
