Shraddha Kapoor’s ‘Thumka’ from the hit song ‘Show Me The Thumka’ has become a national craze, with fans recreating the move and showering the actress with love. The star recently revealed the inspiration behind her killer moves, crediting her father, veteran actor Shakti Kapoor, who also aced the ‘Thumka’ move in the cult comedy ‘Andaz Apna Apna’. Shraddha even ran a poll on social media to crown CrimeMaster Gogo as the OG Thumka King.
Basking in the success of her latest film ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’, Shraddha is now gearing up for the much-awaited ‘Stree 2’. The actress recently crossed 80 million followers on Instagram, becoming the second most followed Indian actress on the platform after Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

In a recent interview, Shraddha spoke about the responsibility she feels towards her performances, as so much hope is riding on her. She credits her audiences for making her childhood dreams come true, and promises to continue giving her best to entertain and inspire her fans.
The actress mentioned, “So, I take that kind of responsibility and yes, it’s also inspiring and all the energy and inspiration comes from the audiences… They are the reason I have been able to live my childhood dream. It does feel like there is pressure and responsibility.”
