Stree 2 teased fans with a June 2024 teaser, hinting at another thrilling adventure in Chanderi. The original cast returns to battle new supernatural threats, promising an Independence Day scare with the tagline “Iss baar Chanderi mein azaadi ke din hoga aatank!”
Akshay Kumar’s Cameo In Shraddha Kapoor Starrer
Reopts about Akshay Kumar making a cameo in Stree 2 has added more star power to the sequel. Produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, the film hits theatres on August 15, 2024, facing competition from John Abraham’s Vedaa and Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein.

The 2018 hit Stree delighted audiences with its mix of scares and humour. Set in Chanderi, the film starred Shraddha Kapoor as Stree, a tailor who uncovers the town’s eerie secrets.
Rajkummar Rao played her love interest, with Pankaj Tripathi shining as the local soothsayer. Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree became a sleeper hit, blending horror and comedy to great effect.
Now the makers are continuing the plot with new twist in Stree 2 where Shraddha Kapoor will become the saviour for villagers of Chanderi.
Talking about Bad Newz, the film is directed by Anand Tiwari and offers a comedic twist. The trailer, released recently, introduced a quirky plot where Triptii Dimri’s character unexpectedly finds herself pregnant with twins, with Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk playing the surprised fathers.
Bad Newz is set to release on July 19, 2024, promising plenty of laughs for audiences.
