Siddharth Anand has stirred fresh excitement around King with a midnight post that fans were quick to connect to Shah Rukh Khan’s much-awaited action spectacle. After first posting “It’s”, the filmmaker returned with “Time For The World”, a phrase that instantly sent social media into decode mode just days before Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday on November 2.
The timing is what has amplified the chatter. Anand’s two back-to-back posts feel designed as a build-up, especially with King already carrying heavyweight anticipation as his next collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan after Pathaan. With the film’s campaign having leaned heavily on punchy, stylised communication so far, the new post fits neatly into that larger promotional mood.

Earlier yesterday morning Siddharth Anand started the buzz in his usual style with one word post ‘Its’.

Last time too Siddharth Anand launched Pathaan with such series of posts and this means he will complete the sentence in next three days before first teaser of much awaited King will be out on SRK’s birthday on 2nd November.
‘It’s Time For The World….”!
The Tease Around King Keeps Getting Bigger
What makes the latest message stand out is its brevity. “Time For The World” is not a reveal in itself, but it lands like a cue, short, controlled and perfectly suited to a film that is being sold as a scale-driven theatrical event. Coming from Anand directly, the post has naturally prompted viewers to expect another official beat in the King rollout.
That expectation is also shaped by how the title was introduced. Red Chillies Entertainment had already unveiled King as a major Shah Rukh Khan vehicle, with Anand fronting the film’s launch materials and helping establish its sleek, high-energy identity. In that context, even a small social media update from the director now carries the weight of a campaign signal.
Why King Has Such Strong Event Value
The scale around King is not incidental. On its official film page, Red Chillies Entertainment describes it as “A New Shah Rukh Khan Experience.” In an official studio announcement around the film’s launch, Red Chillies Entertainment added that it “promises to be a new Shah Rukh Khan experience, with SRK presented like never before”.
That language explains why every new breadcrumb gets instant traction. King is set for a theatrical release on December 24, 2026, and has already been positioned as one of Shah Rukh Khan’s biggest upcoming big-screen titles. Backed by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures, the film is being built as a premium action event rather than a routine star release.
Siddharth Anand’s Recent And Upcoming Work
That larger event packaging also reflects Anand’s own standing in the action space right now. Over the past few years, he has sharpened his identity as one of Hindi cinema’s most bankable large-canvas filmmakers, which is exactly why his smallest online moves are now watched so closely.
Anand directed Pathaan in 2023, the Shah Rukh Khan blockbuster that became one of the defining Hindi theatrical successes of that year. He followed it with Fighter in 2024, starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone. He also expanded into streaming production with Jewel Thief: The Heist Begins, which released on Netflix in 2025. His next confirmed directorial release is King, bringing him back together with Shah Rukh Khan for what is already shaping up to be one of 2026’s biggest Hindi film events.
