Siddharth Anand is making headlines again. After his big hits like Bang Bang, War, Pathaan, and Fighter, he’s now working on a new project that has fans excited. There were rumours about whether his next film would be Tiger v/s Pathaan, Pathaan 2, or Fighter 2.
However, it was later confirmed that Anand’s next film will be a large-scale standalone action movie produced by his company, Marflix. This will be Anand’s ninth film as a director. Fresh updates on the project are out. Scroll down to know!
Siddharth Anand To Unite Two Biggest Superstars In His Next Directorial
Sources close to the development revealed to Pinkvilla that Anand is preparing a high-budget action film featuring two of India’s biggest superstars. This film is set to begin production in 2025.
Siddharth is passionate about the action genre and aims to push new boundaries with this film. After much brainstorming, he has finalised a two-hero action spectacle. The script is complete, and casting is about to start.
The source said, “Siddharth is a big endorser of the action genre and he has the aim to explore new formats in this space with his directorial. After brainstorming several ideas, he has locked a big-scale two-hero action film as his next directorial. He has been working on the script for a while now and is finally in the stage of proceeding to casting.”

The source also noted that Anand’s vision is to create one of the most significant action spectacles for the big screen.
“It’s a new genre of action, and the execution for spectacle will surprise the cinema-going audience. Much like all his directorials, this one too will be a tentpole actioner, meant to celebrate the big screen medium as a collective cinema-going experience. It’s the newness of the genre that took him time to research and complete the script,” the source added.
Siddharth Anand Has 7 New Films For Marflix
In addition to this exciting new project, Anand and his wife, Mamta Anand, have been busy developing a slate of seven films for their production house, Marflix.
These upcoming productions include a range of projects: Jewel Thief featuring Saif Ali Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat, King starring Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, and Abhishek Bachchan, and Krrish 4 led by Hrithik Roshan.
There is also an untitled action drama directed by Milan Luthria, a female-led action film, and a movie inspired by the life of Shri Shri Ravi Shankar.
