Siddharth has caused a stir with his recent comments about the large crowd at Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 event in Patna. While the film is breaking records at the box office, Siddharth made headlines for mocking the event’s turnout, calling it “nothing extraordinary.”

During the promotion of his own film Miss You, Siddharth commented on the crowd that gathered in Patna for Pushpa 2. He compared it to the crowds that form around a JCB machine at a construction site & added that big crowds don’t always mean something special.
He bluntly said, “In our country, even a JCB digging site attracts a crowd. So, people gathering to see Allu Arjun in Bihar is not something extraordinary. If they organise, crowds will be there. In India, crowds don’t mean quality; if that is true, all political parties must win; it’s for Biryani packet and Quarter bottle.”

These remarks quickly went viral on social media, leading to mixed reactions. Some users criticised Siddharth for his comments, while others agreed with him.
One user reminded everyone that Siddharth had previously questioned the box office collections of Pushpa 1. Another wrote, “He is actually right; people don’t care about the quality; they just go where there is a crowd.”
Some fans even suggested that Siddharth’s comments were part of a strategy to promote his own film.
Pushpa 2 Continues To Rule The Box Office
Siddharth’s remarks come at a time when Pushpa 2 is performing exceptionally well. Since its release on December 5, the film has grossed over Rs 829 crore worldwide in just four days.
It also set new records with Rs 175 crore net on its opening day in India and Rs 294 crore globally, making it the highest-ever opening for an Indian film. The Hindi-dubbed version of the film also became the biggest Hindi opener of all time.
Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2: The Rule continues the story of Pushparaju, played by Allu Arjun, as he rises in the world of red sandalwood smuggling. The film explores Pushpa’s struggle to maintain his dominance, face new enemies, and balance his role as a devoted husband to Srivalli.
