The Bollywood box office is gearing up for one of the most exciting showdowns of the year. Tomorrow, Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 are set to release, each promising thrills, big-screen action, and Diwali excitement for audiences worldwide.
But it turns out that not everyone will be able to catch these highly anticipated films as soon as expected, and some regions won’t get them at all.
Singham Again DELAYED By A Week In Singapore
There’s a slight disappointment for fans in Singapore. Due to a delay with the censorship process, Ajay Devgn’s action-packed Singham Again will arrive in Singapore cinemas a week later than planned.
The new release date is now set for Thursday, November 7. A source close to the situation explained to Bollywood Hungama, “The Singapore Censor Board is very strict and particular and has been known to behave this way. In the past as well, many films have suffered in a similar fashion.”
Although fans will have to wait a little longer, the film is on track to make a grand international debut across 1900 screens worldwide, with a record-breaking reach in regions like Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji. In North America, it’s set to screen on over 760 screens, with a significant presence in Canada’s Cineplex theatres, which account for the majority of Canadian box office returns.
Both Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 & Singham Again BANNED In Saudi Arabia
The real shocker comes from Saudi Arabia, where both Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 have been banned entirely. According to insider reports, the Saudi Arabian government chose to prohibit Singham Again due to the “religious conflict” depicted in the film.
Although specifics haven’t been fully disclosed, it’s believed that certain plot elements were deemed too controversial for the region.
Meanwhile, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, known for its blend of horror and comedy, has also fallen afoul of local regulators due to “homosexual references”. It is a sensitive topic in Saudi Arabia where such themes often face censorship.

The delay and bans haven’t dampened excitement elsewhere, though. The films will still be available for fans in major markets, including the UK and Ireland. Singham Again will be shown there in 224 cinemas with both movies going head-to-head this weekend.
