Recently, social media buzzed with excitement over the possibility of Salman Khan appearing in the upcoming film Singham Again, led by Ajay Devgn. Some reports even claimed he would reprise his iconic role as Inspector Chulbul Pandey from the Dabangg series.
Fans were eager for what they thought would be a thrilling crossover in the cop-action franchise. However, these rumours have been officially dismissed.
No Salman Khan Cameo In Singham Again, Reports Are FAKE
Director Rohit Shetty clarified that Salman Khan is not involved in Singham Again. According to sources close to the project, Rohit never approached Salman for a cameo. The circulating reports had no basis, as they were simply speculations that gained traction online.
Earlier, Times Now reported that Salman was set to make an appearance as Chulbul Pandey in the film. This article suggested that Rohit Shetty had contacted Salman, who supposedly agreed to the role without hesitation.
Another outlet Zoom further claimed that Salman and Rohit had previously discussed potential collaborations. The implication was that Rohit had found a way to incorporate Salman’s “larger-than-life” persona into the Singham narrative, which was believed to have been welcomed by the actor.
However, the excitement was short-lived. Following the surge of speculation, social media users dug up an old video of Rohit Shetty discussing how Salman’s 2009 film Wanted inspired the creation of the Singham series. This revelation further added context to the claims but ultimately proved unhelpful in confirming Salman’s participation.
While fans were left disappointed, the focus now shifts back to Singham Again. Ajay Devgn will reprise his role as DCP Bajirao Singham, and the film promises an ensemble cast featuring Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor. With such a star-studded lineup, anticipation for the film remains high.
Salman Khan Is Busy Shooting Sajid Nadiadwala’s Sikandar
Salman Khan is currently immersed in the production of Sikandar, directed by Sajid Nadiadwala and AR Murugadoss. Reports indicate that he has started filming, with the opening scene featuring an aerial action sequence.
In this sequence, Salman will be “suspended at a height” while engaging in intense hand-to-hand combat. The choreography is expected to blend aerial stunts with close-quarters fighting, enhanced by special effects. This particular scene is said to be one of the most visually striking aspects of the film.
