Radhika Apte is all set for a strong comeback after enjoying her motherhood. The actress welcomed her first child with husband Benedict Taylor in December 2024.
Now, she’s ready to return to the big screen with Sister Midnight. She recently shared the first poster today, leaving her fans excited.
Radhika Apte Drops Sister Midnight FIRST Poster
In the poster, Radhika stands on a dark street wearing a green and blue saree. She holds a mopping broom and looks straight at the camera. The gritty vibe of the image reminded fans of the iconic 1976 film Taxi Driver.

Designer James Paterson created the bold poster. Fans quickly filled the comments with excitement. One user said, “I saw the trailer and This Will be an Epic Movie.” Another wrote, “Instantly reminded me of the Taxi Driver (1976) poster.”
About The Film
Sister Midnight is a dark comedy with a mix of real-life struggles and satire. Radhika plays Uma, a woman stuck in the routine of life. The story follows her across iconic Mumbai locations like Marine Drive, Bandstand, and local trains.
This film marks Radhika’s proper comeback after becoming a mum. She last appeared briefly in Merry Christmas, directed by Sriram Raghavan. In Sister Midnight, she returns in a lead role and takes full control of the screen.
Karan Kandhari has written and directed the film. It had its world premiere at the Cannes Directors’ Fortnight earlier this year. The trailer got solid reactions, with praise for its raw tone and visuals.
The film releases in New York on 16 May and in Los Angeles on 23 May. More cities in the US will be added soon. However, there’s no update yet on its India release.
