Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt‘s much-anticipated sequel, Son Of Sardaar 2, has officially started filming. The production is currently underway in the UK, with recent visuals from London’s Edinburgh streets in Scottland making waves online.
Pictures of the shoot have gone viral and it is being said that the street was closed for a two-day shooting there.

Adding to the buzz, Mrunal Thakur, the new female lead, was recently spotted in London. A video of her in traditional Punjabi attire has gained traction on social media.
In the clip, Mrunal can be seen in a vibrant pink and mustard Patiala suit, complete with a traditional parandi and maang tika, embodying her character’s Punjabi roots. Fans are eagerly awaiting more details about her role.

About The Sequel
This sequel marks a 12-year gap since the original Son Of Sardaar film. Sonakshi Sinha will not reprise her role from the first film. Instead, Mrunal Thakur steps into the spotlight, adding new energy to the franchise.
According to reports, Ajay Devgn will once again play Jassi, while Sanjay Dutt returns as Balwinder Singh Sandhu. However, their dynamic will shift significantly.
In the sequel, their relationship will evolve from the comedic rivalry of the original to a more intense conflict, with Sanjay Dutt’s character taking on a more antagonistic role.
Despite their on-screen tension, Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt remain close friends, with Devgn ensuring that Dutt’s role in the sequel is substantial and impactful.
Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, Son Of Sardaar 2 aims to deliver another round of laughter and drama, building on the legacy of the first film. While a release date has yet to be confirmed, fans can look forward to a new adventure with Billu and Jassi.
In addition to Son Of Sardaar 2, Mrunal Thakur has recently completed filming for David Dhawan’s comedy opposite Varun Dhawan.
