Ajay Devgn‘s fans have a reason to celebrate as an update on the second instalment of the popular movie Son Of Sardaar has stirred up excitement.

Mrunal Thakur To Replace Sonakshi Sinha In Son Of Sardaar 2
With news of the sequel, fans are eager to learn about the cast lineup. According to a report by Zoom TV, Mrunal Thakur, renowned for her role in Sita Ramam, will be stepping into Sonakshi Sinha’s shoes for this sequel.
Ajay Devgn has a busy schedule in 2024, with a string of many releases lined up. After Shaitaan and Maidaan, he has Auron Mein Kaha Dum Tha, Singham Again, and Raid 2. Additionally, he is gearing up to commence shooting for De De Pyaar De 2 this week.
Ajay Devgn Expected To Begin Filming In June
Demonstrating his work ethic, Ajay Devgn is set to start filming Son Of Sardaar 2 next month, in June. Currently in the pre-production phase, the makers aim for a theatrical release in mid-2025, promising audiences another dose of laughter, action, and Sardar charm.
While details about the plot and cast of Son of Sardaar 2 are being kept tightly under wraps, a source close to the project revealed to Zoom TV, “We have some exciting surprises in store for the audience. Son Of Sardaar 2 promises to deliver another dose of laughter, action, and Sardar charm to audiences worldwide, bigger and better than before.”
About Son Of Sardaar
The original film follows the journey of Rajveer Singh (Ajay Devgan) as he returns to his ancestral village and falls in love with Jiya (Sonakshi Sinha).
His attempts to sell his land to a feudal lord lead to a perilous confrontation, unveiling a clash rooted in his family’s history with the same lord. The narrative unfolds as Rajveer navigates through this hazardous situation.
