Prabhas‘ upcoming horror-romantic comedy The Raja Saab is creating buzz, but not just for its storyline. The Maruthi directorial has already faced delays, and its music has sparked discussion now.
Composer Thaman S recently revealed that the film’s original songs were scrapped and completely redone.
Here’s Why The Raja Saab Songs Were Trahed And Remade
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Thaman said, “For The Raja Saab, we started composing the songs now. The makers finished the whole film and Prabhas Garu is coming up with commercial songs after a very long time.”
He also shared that the film will feature a melody song, an introduction song, and a high-energy dance track with three actresses. Another love song has also been included. The composer added, “So we are releasing each song at an appropriate time so that it looks fresh.”
Thaman explained why the earlier compositions were removed. He admitted that the old tracks wouldn’t have worked with today’s audience, even with upgrades. He shared, “I should be updated and not cheat my producers,” he stated.
He stressed the importance of staying relevant to current musical trends and ensuring the best return for the film’s investment.
Prabhas’ Work Front
Meanwhile, Prabhas has a busy lineup beyond The Raja Saab. His next film Fauji, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, is close to completion despite facing a delay due to his on-set injury. Fans are also excited about Spirit, a cop drama by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
The buzz doesn’t stop here as the actor has sequels for Salaar and Kalki 2898 AD, while Brahmarakshas (directed by Prasanth Varma) is also in development.
