Sreeleela Joins Sidharth Malhotra In Mitti
Sources close to the project have confirmed that South sensation Sreeleela will be the female lead opposite Malhotra. A close source told Pinkvilla, “It’s a strong author-backed role for Sreeleela. The actress was actively seeking a character like this, and once she read the script, it was an immediate yes from her. She’s thrilled to work with Sid and kick off her journey in the Hindi Film Industry.”
Filming Expected To Begin In October 2024
Mitti is scheduled to start filming in October 2024, with a planned marathon shoot across North India. The pre-production phase is in full swing, with the team committed to launching the film by winter. The drama will showcase a deeply rooted action-family narrative, offering a new dimension to Malhotra’s acting repertoire. “The film will explore the intense side of Sid, and he’s excited to dive into this new world under Janjua’s direction,” the source added.
Sreeleela’s Work Front
Sreeleela, meanwhile, is making her mark in Bollywood with two major projects. Alongside Mitti, she will feature in Diler, a production by Dinesh Vijan, co-starring Ibrahim Ali Khan. Both films are slated for release in 2025. In addition to her Hindi film ventures, Sreeleela is also involved in several Telugu films set for release over the next year. Her recent appearance was alongside Mahesh Babu in Guntur Kaaram.
