About Sarfira
Sarfira is a biography film helmed by Sudha Kongara. Starring Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Radhika Madan, the movie is a remake of the Tamil film Soorarai Pottru (2020), based on GR Gopinath’s memoir, Simply Fly: A Deccan Odyssey.
The story revolves around Veerendra “Veer” Mhatre (played by Akshay Kumar), a former pilot who embarks on a mission to establish a low-cost airline to serve the underprivileged. However, his ambitious venture is met with challenges from rival airline owners who pose threats to his business and the safety of passengers.
