Taapsee tweeted, “Haar ke jeetne waale ko Baazigar kehte hai (the one who wins after taking a defeat is called Baazigar).”

Following India’s defeat on the grounds, the actress posted this encouraging message. It should be noted that this is India’s first setback versus Pakistan in a world cup match, putting an end to the men in blue’s three-decade dominance. Twitterati began reacting to Taapsee’s post in a matter of minutes. While some agreed, others appeared dismayed by the outcome.

Richa Chadha also posted, “Damn! (claps emoji) For effort (folded hands emoji). She also shared a meme featuring various moods of Aamir Khan and wrote, “Ho jata hai kabhi kabhi (it happens).”
