With the welcome of the new year, we are also set to welcome some of the most awaited films for this year. From Deepika Padukone’s Chhapaak to Ajay Devgn – Kajol – Saif Ali Khan starrer Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior some big releases are lined up to hit the big screen.
Filmmaker Om Raut who helmed the historic saga Tanhaji is quite confident about the film even though it’s among one of the first releases of 2020.
Despite clashes with big films, the director is calm. Talking about releaseing the film in January he says there’s room for all kinds of films, given the example of Uri: The Surgical Strike. The director said the film was highly successful even though it released in January.
The director while speaking on the clash said he is a huge fan of filmmaker Meghna Gulzar and he is also looking forward to her film Chhapaak.
Coming on the leads of his film the director said working with Ajay Devgn, Kajol, and Saif Ali Khan is like a dream come true. The also added that all three of them are extremely polished actors and that there’s a reason behind their significance in current times too. Om said it was a treat to see the culture of old times and professionalism of modern times while making the film.
