Chhaava is set to release in cinemas on February 14 and viewers have a lot of surprises awaiting. Alongside the much-awaited historical drama, audiences will get a sneak peek at some of the most exciting upcoming films.
The Diplomat, Thama & Bhool Chuk Maaf Teaser To Be Attached With Chhaava
Industry sources reveal that Maddock Films is repeating its successful marketing move. Just like how Chhaava’s trailer was attached to Sky Force, the production house is now using its latest release to showcase teasers of its future projects. This approach ensures more visibility and builds hype among theatre audiences.
Reports confirm that Maddock has included two promos with Chhaava – one for Thama and the other for Bhool Chuk Maaf.
Thama is the latest addition to Maddock’s hit horror-comedy universe. The film has been scheduled for a Diwali release and features Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, Paresh Rawal, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. It is directed by Munjya fame Aditya Sarpotdar. You can expect a mix of eerie thrills and lighthearted fun.
Meanwhile, Bhool Chuk Maaf brings Maddock back to its expertise in small-town romantic comedies. Helmed by Karan Sharma, the film stars Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi and is expected to release later this year.
Additionally, T-Series is also jumping on board. The teaser for The Diplomat starring John Abraham will play before Chhaava. This political thriller is scheduled to hit cinemas on March 7.
Andaz Apna Apna Re-release Promo Will Also Be Shown
As an added bonus, the re-release promo of the 1994 cult classic Andaz Apna Apna will also be screened in theatres. While not officially attached to Chhaava, theatres have received the teaser and are expected to play it before the film or during the interval.
Starring Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Raveena Tandon, and Karisma Kapoor, this comedy favourite is making a nostalgic return to the big screen.
Talking about Chhaava, it is a historical drama based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the fearless Maratha warrior who stood against the Mughal Empire.
Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan, the film stars Vicky Kaushal in the lead role, alongside Rashmika Mandanna as Maharani Yesubai and Akshaye Khanna as Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb.
