Thama: Ayushmann Khurrana And Rashmika Set To Shoot Some ‘Thrilling’ Sequences, Will Kick Off 2nd Schedule In Delhi Next Week

Actor Ayushmann Khurrana has stepped into 2025 with full force as he preps for his next project Thama. After a short shoot in Mumbai in late 2024, the team is now ready for the second schedule.

The project has generated a lot of buzz as a ‘bloody love story’ set in the popular Maddock horror-comedy universe.

Ayushmann Khurrana Gears Up For Next Schedule Of Thama

As per the latest updates, the film’s team is heading to Delhi to shoot some exciting new sequences. Filming begins next week and will run through January.

Ayushmann stars alongside Rashmika Mandanna, with a strong supporting cast that includes Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The film promises an intense love story that’s sure to keep viewers hooked. 

Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar (who previously made Munjya), the film is written by Niren Bhatt, Suresh Mathew, and Arun Fulara. Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik, the film is already creating excitement.

Ayushmann’s Profesional Front

2025 looks to be a busy year for Ayushmann with Thama set for a Diwali release. But that’s not all. He also has another untitled action thriller lined up with Dharma and Sikhya Productions. 

In addition, he’s gearing up for two more projects: one with Sooraj Barjatya, a heartfelt family drama, and another with Sameer Saxena. This second film, created in collaboration with Yash Raj Films and Posham Pa Pictures, is expected to be a thrilling, genre-bending experience.

Recently, he was recognised at the 22nd Unforgettable Gala as the Future Leader for One ASIA. Reflecting on Indian cinema’s global reach, Ayushmann expressed his pride in seeing it connect across cultures. 

He said, “Indian cinema is resonating with everyone. it’s wonderful to see this change.” At the Gala, Ayushmann was honoured alongside renowned figures like Joan Chen, an Oscar judge, and Hiroyuki Sanada, known for his roles in Shogun and John Wick.
