Ahead of the New Year, Bollywood stars are busy sharing festive messages on social media. Among them are Thama co-stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, who released a video wishing fans ‘THAMA-ke-daar’ holidays. The video caught attention online in no time.

In the video, Ayushmann and Rashmika display their on-screen chemistry while wishing their followers a happy holiday season. Sharing an adorable video, they wrote, “Hope you’re having THAMA-ke-daar holidays. See you in 2025 #Diwali.”
The duo was all smiles and they struck some cute poses to form ‘Thama’.

Thama is being handled by Munjya director Aditya Sarpotdar. The project is produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik, who have been associated with popular horror-comedy films in Bollywood. The film is described as a love story with elements of fantasy and horror, aiming to extend the existing universe of similar hits.
What Ayushmann & Rashmika Said About Joining Thama Cast
Ayushmann Khurrana spoke earlier about joining this franchise. He said, “I’m excited that Dinesh Vijan feels this is the best time for me to enter his blockbuster horror-comedy universe in and as Thama. After Stree 2 became the all-time biggest Bollywood film in the history of Hindi cinema, I am thrilled to be part of this universe’s legacy as it moves forward and also feel responsible for giving audiences a theatrical experience that they will remember for years to come.”
Rashmika Mandanna also shared her thoughts on being part of the film. In an interview with Pinkvilla, she said, “You have the spy universe; you have all of this. But a universe like this, which is so different, that fascinated me. They are creating everything from the root. They are imagining things, convincing people to believe those things actually can exist.” She added that the film could appeal to younger audiences, calling children the “best audience.”
The film features an ensemble cast including Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. It is written by Niren Bhatt, Suresh Mathew, and Arun Fulara.
While the holiday wishes from the stars have sparked some excitement, it remains to be seen how Thama will resonate with audiences once it hits theatres in late 2025.
