The makers of The Crew, a comedy film set in the airline industry, have unveiled the character posters of the three leading ladies, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu and Kriti Sanon. The film, directed by Rajesh Krishnan and produced by Ektaa Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor, is slated to release on March 29, 2024.
The film also stars Diljit Dosanjh, Kapil Sharma, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Saswata Chatterjee and Pooja Bhamrrah in pivotal roles. The film is expected to be a laugh-riot with a lot of twists and turns.
The Crew: First Look Posters Out
The character posters show the three actresses in their flight attendant uniforms, with different captions.
The Crew is said to be a story of three hard-working women who face some unwarranted situations and end up caught in a web of lies. The story is set against the backdrop of the struggling airline industry and is based on the lives of women in the industry.
The Crew is the second collaboration between Ektaa Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor after the successful Veere Di Wedding, which also starred Kareena Kapoor Khan. The film is also the first time that Tabu, Kareena and Kriti are sharing screen space.
The Crew Announcement Teaser
The teaser video commenced with a voiceover of a pilot extending a warm welcome to the passengers on the flight. He can be heard saying, “Ladies and gentlemen, this is Captain speaking. Aaj ke flight me aap ka swagat hai. Hamare crew aap ka bohat kheyal rakhega. Lekin aap se ek nivedan hai ki aap ni choli tightly badh le, ta ke dil bahar na gir jaye (Ladies and gentlemen, welcome onboard. Our crew will take care of you. Please tie your blouse tight or your hearts might fall out).”

Rhea Kapoor on The Crew
Last year, Rhea Kapoor spoke about The Crew and said The Crew is ‘the most ambitious film’ she has ever made. “When you work with Tabu and Kareena, there’s this sense of ease. They do everything with so much effortlessness. They’re so professional and freaking good,” she said at the time.
“And the most important thing is that they’re good comedians. That was just a treat to watch on the set. I’ve never experienced this kind of ease in performance and work before, especially when there are multiple actors on set. Working with Diljit was also awesome,” she added.
