Nowadays, period dramas have become favourite in Bollywood. From Jodha Akbar to Padmaavat, we have seen some of the most opulent films being made on historic events. work well at the box office while some loses the battle at BO.
Now, Ashutosh Gowariker, who already has the success and reward of Jodha Akbar in his kitty, is all set to release another period drama titled ‘Panipat’ this year.
Starring Sanjay Dutt, Padmini Kolhpuri and Zeenat Aman, Gowariker tells the story of the 1761 Battle of Panipat. Where the Marathas fought the King of Afghan, Ahmad Shah Abdali. The films also stars Kriti Sanon and Arjun Kapoor.
