Janhvi Kapoor has been busy promoting her upcoming film Ulajh as it releases on August 2. However, the actress recently faced a health scare amid the promotions.
According to a report by Times Now, the actress was hospitalised due to a severe case of food poisoning.
Janhvi Kapoor Gets Hospitalised After Food Poisoning
On Wednesday, Janhvi felt unwell and postponed all her promotional activities for the remainder of the week. Her condition worsened on Thursday, prompting her family to seek immediate medical attention.
Bollywood Hungama confirmed the news, revealing that Janhvi’s symptoms had escalated, necessitating her admission to a hospital. A source stated, “It’s a severe case of food poisoning. On Wednesday, Janhvi was bedridden at home, feeling very frail, weak, and anxious. She postponed all her appointments on Wednesday and for the rest of the week. On Thursday, she felt even worse.”
The source added, “So, the family decided to get her proper medical attention and got her admitted into the hospital. She is on the way to recovery now, though still very weak. She is expected to be discharged by Friday.”
The buzz around Ulajh remains strong, with the trailer receiving positive responses. Fans are eagerly awaiting the film’s release on August 2, 2024.

In addition to Ulajh, Janhvi Kapoor has a packed schedule with several upcoming projects. She will be seen in Devara: Part 1 alongside Jr. NTR, a film with Ram Charan, another with Suriya, a Hindi film titled Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, and a project with Neeraj Ghaywan and Ishaan Khatter.
