In the new teaser, Varun introduces his character, Agent Bunny, whose real name is Rahi Gambhir. The clip features heart-pounding stunts that highlight his skills as the top agent for a vital project known as Talwar. Kay Kay Menon’s voiceover adds to the excitement, declaring, “That boy is special. Always a step ahead.”
Amazon Prime Video took to social media to share the teaser, captioning it: “He’s got the charm, the speed, and a knack for the impossible! Meet Agent Bunny. #CitadelHoneyBunnyOnPrime, New Series, Nov 7.”
Fans wasted no time in expressing their excitement. Comments flooded in, with one user declaring, “Varun Dhawan’s action era begins,” while another added, “Can’t wait for Varun Dhawan aka Bunny ‘Rahi Gambhir!’”

Janhvi Kapoor also shared her excitement for Citadel: Honey Bunny. In a recent interview with Instant Bollywood, she praised Varun and Samantha’s performances, saying, “I think it’s amazing. I think he and Samantha have absolutely killed it, and I hope that whatever they do, they always find success because they are so hardworking and talented. As for Honey Bunny, it looks great!”
The teaser isn’t the only buzz surrounding the series. Priyanka Chopra, who stars in the original Citadel, shared her love for the upcoming spin-off. She described the show as “amazing” and had nothing but kind words for Varun and Samantha’s work.
Varun previously released a promotional video that combined clips from both Citadel: Honey Bunny and the original Citadel. In this mash-up, Priyanka, playing Nadia, introduces her daughter to her grandfather, showcasing the familial connections that bind the series together.
Directed by Raj and DK, Citadel: Honey Bunny promises to blend high-stakes action with gripping storytelling. With the backing of the Russo Brothers, known for their work on Avengers: Endgame, the anticipation is sky-high for this new venture.
