Vicky Kaushal is going all out to promote his upcoming period drama, Chhaava. The film is creating major buzz, thanks to Maddock Films’ strong marketing push. After his recent visit to Aurangabad, Vicky landed in Kolkata, where he got a grand welcome from fans.
Vicky Kaushal Promotes Chhaava In Kolkata
During Kolkata promotions, he interacted with fans and brought the energy levels sky-high. Fans shared several pictures and videos from the event.
In one viral clip, he was seen standing on a car rooftop and waving at the excited crowd. He also greeted them with ‘Namaste’ gesture.

The actor also danced to “Aaya Re Toofan” song from the film, making fans go wild. Social media was flooded with photos of him shaking hands and posing for selfies with fans.
Katrina’s Take On Vicky’s Chhaava Look
For his role as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, Vicky grew out his hair and beard to match the historical figure’s look. Let us tell you, it’s not just fans but Katrina Kaif who loved his transformation for the film.
At one of the events, Vicky revealed, “She loved it. She hates me clean-shaven, so she was like – I miss Chhaava days. She keeps thanking Laxman (Utekar) sir and Dinoo sir (Dinesh Vijan). She’s like – Why did you finish the film so soon? You should have shot for five years.’”
Coming back to the film, Chhaava is set to release on February 14 during Valentine’s Day. With just a few days left, the makers have already dropped the trailer and two songs. Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, the film also features Akshaye Khanna and Rashmika Mandanna in key roles.
