Chhaava Makers Drop New Poster With Just A Week Left For Release

Today, they released another countdown poster featuring Vicky as Sambhaji Maharaj, standing tall on the battlefield and flaunting his toned physique. In his warrior look, he is seen staring at his sword with an intense gaze.

Sharing the poster, the makers wrote, “Unki ek garaj mein hi tha toofan, woh yodha the mahaan – 7 din mein unki kahaani dekhega poora sansaar. ⚔️”

Vicky recently visited Shri Ghrishneshwar temple in Aurangabad, where he performed aarti. Photos and videos from the visit circulated on social media. The actor also shared moments from his visit on Instagram, writing, “जय भवानी । जय शिवराय । #ChhaavaOnFeb14.”

Chhaava Controversy

Meanwhile, Chhaava faced controversy over a scene where Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj is shown dancing. Maharashtra minister Uday Samant objected to it and demanded its removal.

He stated, “The movie should be shown to historians and scholars. If they raise objections, we will not let it be released.”

Following this, director Laxman Utekar met Maharashtra Navnirman Sena leader Raj Thackeray and assured that all disputed scenes would be removed before the film’s release.

In a recent interview, Vicky also addressed this controversy around the film. He shared that the lezim dance was meant to promote Maharashtrian culture worldwide. However, it has now been removed as Sambhaji Maharaj’s followers felt it was “a bit off.”
