The dance sequence is said to be part of the film’s title track, adding to the buzz around the action-comedy. Speaking about the project, Ajay shared, “We are almost done with the movie,” hinting that production is nearly complete.
Son Of Sardaar Director’s Son Recently Died In A Car Accident
The excitement around the film has been tempered by a heartbreaking loss. Director Ashwini Dhir recently lost his 18-year-old son, Jalaj Dhir, in a tragic car accident on November 23.
The accident occurred on the Western Express Highway in Mumbai. Jalaj was travelling with three friends when their car, reportedly driven by an intoxicated driver, crashed into a divider. Jalaj and another passenger, Sarth Kaushik, lost their lives after being rushed to the hospital. The driver, Sahil Mendha, has been arrested, and police are awaiting blood test results to confirm the use of alcohol.
The tragedy has deeply affected the team, who are standing by Ashwini during this difficult time.
What We Know About Sequel So Far
The sequel features Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, and Mrunal Thakur in lead roles. The plot revolves around a fierce gang war between Punjabi and Bihari dons, promising intense drama and action.
The team recently completed a two-month shoot in Punjab and is now gearing up for the final schedule in Mumbai. The movie is set to release in late 2025, allowing plenty of time for post-production and promotions.
The production has faced its share of hurdles. Vijay Raaz was replaced following misconduct allegations, and Sanjay Dutt’s visa issues delayed his participation in the UK schedule.
