Recently, Sanjay Dutt, who plays the iconic character, shared his thoughts on the film’s release during a conversation with ETimes.

Sanjay Dutt also admitted that he’s just as eager as the fans to know when Munna Bhai will be back in cinemas. He answered, “Woh Raju Hirani (filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani) se puchiye. I am also tired of asking him when he would revive Munna Bhai.”
At 65, Dutt has over 40 years of experience in the industry. His love for acting is still strong, and he keeps a busy shooting schedule. He feels that his passion for acting never goes away.
Sanjay Dutt On Changes In Industry Over The Years
Reflecting on the changes in filmmaking, Dutt observed that while the industry is now more professional, the close-knit atmosphere among cast and crew has diminished. He recalled a time when everyone was more connected and involved in the production process.
Dutt recalled the vibrant atmosphere of the past, where everyone was deeply committed to their work. Nowadays, actors tend to finish their scenes and head straight to their vanity vans.
While he understands the need for this modern way of working, he misses the collaborative spirit of earlier days.
Recently, Dutt shared some sweet moments from his twin children’s birthday celebrations on Instagram.
One picture shows a loving moment with his daughter, Iqra, while his son, Shahraan, playfully posed in the background. Another image captured the family having fun on a scooter ride, embodying the joyful spirit of Munna Bhai.
In his heartfelt birthday message, Dutt expressed his deep love for his children, urging them to chase success and happiness. He stressed the importance of hard work and dedication in reaching their goals, along with staying humble. He assured them of his unwavering support and wished them a year full of joy and blessings.
Sanjay Dutt: Work Front
On the work front, Dutt recently appeared in Ghudchadi, where he starred alongside Raveena Tandon.
He will now appear in Kannada Film KD: The Devil, releasing on November 30. Additionally, Sanju has some exciting Bollywood projects like Son Of Sardaar 2, Housefull 5 and more lined up.
