The legendary actor Kamal Haasan, also known as Ulaganayagan, turned 69 today. To celebrate this special occasion, the makers of the much-awaited pan-India film, Kalki 2898 AD, in which Kamal Haasan plays a key role, released a special poster featuring him.

The production team of Vyjayanthi Movies, which is producing the film, shared a heartfelt message on social media, wishing the global phenomenon of cinema a happy birthday. “Happy birthday to the one and only #Ulaganayagan @ikamalhaasan, the global phenomenon of cinema! – Team #Kalki2898AD.” they wrote.
Kalki 2898 AD is a grand spectacle, directed by Nag Ashwin, that combines mythology and science fiction. The film has a stellar cast, including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani in prominent roles. The multilingual film is being proudly presented by Vyjayanthi Movies, which is marking its 50th year in the Indian film industry.

Prabhas, who stars alongside Kamal Haasan in Kalki 2898 AD, also posted a message on social media, expressing his reverence and admiration for the actor, the legend, the icon. “To the actor, the legend, the icon we’ve grown up idolizing… Happy birthday Kamal Haasan sir. Fortunate to be working with you, sir.” he said.
