Shah Rukh Khan and Vidhu Vinod Chopra have had a long relationship, although they never worked together professionally. The two nearly collaborated on the popular films Munna Bhai MBBS and 3 Idiots, but those plans didn’t come to fruition.
At the IIFA Awards 2024, Chopra spoke about the possibility of finally working with Shah Rukh. He said, “Maybe today we’ll shake hands… And work together. Now, it’s time we worked together.” Fans are eagerly waiting for their long-awaited partnership.
Shah Rukh Khan also made waves at a private event in Delhi, where he wore a sleek all-black two-piece suit. He was seen dancing to his iconic songs like “Chaiyya Chaiyya” from Dil Se and “Jhoome Jo Pathaan“ from Pathaan, captivating the crowd with his energy and charm. It was another reminder of why he’s known as the King of Bollywood.
SRK’s Work Front
On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan is preparing for his next big film, King, directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The action thriller will feature his daughter, Suhana Khan, making her Bollywood debut. Abhishek Bachchan will play the villain.
Shah Rukh Khan has earlier discussed the film with Variety and expressing his excitement about it. He mentioned that he has been wanting to do a project like this for the past seven or eight years. He also explained that Sujoy Ghosh was the perfect choice for the film, as they wanted it to have emotional depth. The team is coming together to create a thrilling, action-packed, yet emotional movie.
For the unversed, SRK is all set to shoot King in Poland by the end of January 2025.
