What Is SCREENIT?
SCREENIT lets you select a film from PVR’s extensive library, which includes over 500 Indian and international titles. The service is currently available on 120 screens across 50 cities in India.
To create a screening, users need to buy just two tickets via the PVR app. Once the minimum ticket threshold is met, the show becomes live, allowing others to book seats. As an added perk, the host earns 5% on every ticket sold.
SCREENIT gives audiences full control over their cinema experience. Instead of relying on fixed showtimes and new releases, users can choose the movie, location, and timing that suits them. It transforms movie-watching into a personalised event.
Beyond just hosting a screening, users can also earn money. Every ticket sold through their referral link gives them a cash reward. This turns a regular cinema visit into an opportunity to make money while enjoying a film of their choice.
How To Host Your Own SCREENIT Show
- Download the PVR app and click on SCREENIT.
- Choose a movie from PVR’s 500-title library and select a time and date.
- Book a minimum of two tickets to start the screening.
- Sell at least 10% of the hall’s seating capacity within two weeks before the show date to make the screening live.
- If the minimum requirement isn’t met, you’ll get a full refund.
- Generate a unique referral link through the app to promote your show and earn additional rewards.
PVR INOX has also introduced the ‘Promote and Earn’ feature, where users can promote any movie playing in a PVR INOX cinema and earn money from ticket sales. The feature is live on the PVR app, allowing users to earn 2% cashback on every ticket sold through their referral link.
