Shah Rukh Khan Expected To Team Up With Karan Johar For A New Film
Reports suggest that Karan Johar has pitched a new film to Shah Rukh Khan, sparking excitement. The actor, known for being picky with his roles, had turned down multiple Dharma projects in the past.
However, this new film is said to be a big one and there’s hope for their next collaboration to finally happen.
While nothing is confirmed yet, the news has caught fans’ attention. The last time Shah Rukh worked with Karan Johar was on Dear Zindagi, a film about self-discovery and relationships. If this new film goes ahead, it could mark a major reunion for the duo, and fans are eagerly waiting for details.
Shah Rukh Khan Starrer Kal Ho Naa Ho & Pardes Re-Releasing In Theatres Soon
Dharma Productions is bringing back some of Shah Rukh Khan’s classic films. Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003), starring SRK, Preity Zinta, and Saif Ali Khan, will be re-released in select PVR cinemas soon. The decision was based on a social media poll where fans voted for the film.
Another re-release is Pardes (1997), directed by Subhash Ghai and starring Shah Rukh, Mahima Chaudhry, and Apoorva Agnihotri. Fans will soon get to relive these iconic films on the big screen. Both films will begin their re-run on November 15.
SRK & Karan’s Work Front
Shah Rukh Khan is now preparing for his next film King, directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The action-packed drama is scheduled for release in 2026, with SRK’s daughter, Suhana Khan, also starring in it. Abhishek Bachchan will play the villain. Filming will start in Mumbai in January 2025, followed by shoots in Europe. Fans can expect a thrilling ride as the film wraps up in summer 2025.
As for Karan Johar, his last directorial was Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (2023). The recent release Jigra under his production didn’t do as well as expected, but he’s still busy.
Now, the filmmaker is working on several projects. He is producing Chand Mera Dil with Ananya Panday, Dhadak 2 with Siddhant-Triptii and a film based on C Sankaran Nair starring Akshay Kumar. Reportedly, Johar is also preparing for his web series directorial debut.
