The Geetu Mohandas directorial was certified by the Central Board of Film Certification on August 13, 2026, and its approved runtime stands at 3 hours, 14 minutes and 12 seconds. With the film set for a worldwide theatrical release on August 26, 2026, that update instantly places Toxic in the league of full bodied theatrical spectacles built for a long, immersive experience.
That sense of purpose has followed the film from the beginning. Announced as Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups, the project brings together Yash, KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations for a title that has been positioned as a distinct departure from his KGF years. Speaking about the choices he was making after that franchise, Yash said, “I heard a lot of things which kind of felt like it’s falling into formula or maybe somewhere it also looked like you’re just trying to encash on the success.”
