The production house has announced YETO KA NAAY, its first hip-hop musical story, along with its Hindi version titled YKN-Pehla Vaar. The move signals a fresh creative turn for the banner as it steps into a youth-driven space powered by rhythm, identity, friendship and self-discovery.

As of May 29, 2026, YETO KA NAAY is currently being shot in Mumbai and is planned for a theatrical release later in 2026. The story is set entirely against the backdrop of Mumbai, with the makers positioning it as a Marathi and Hindi hip-hop musical drama that reflects the pulse of contemporary youth culture.
The Hindi version, YKN-Pehla Vaar, extends the film’s reach beyond its Marathi base while keeping the world of the story rooted in the city’s energy. The film blends Marathi hip-hop culture with an emotional coming-of-age journey about youth, friendship, love, identity and self-discovery.
For Hombale Films, the project also underlines a continuing strategy of expanding across languages without flattening cultural specificity.
