Rishab Shetty has planned to make Kantara: Chapter 1 bigger and better. The film will feature one of the biggest war sequences in Indian cinema. To make it as grand as possible, Shetty and his team will spend 45 to 50 days filming an intense battle in Karnataka’s mountainous terrain.
Kantata Chapter 1 War Sequence In A Rugged Mountainous Region
The war sequence is being shot in a remote area with minimal facilities. To make it feel real and raw, Shetty and his team lived in this rugged region for a month. Hombale Films has also brought in over 500 trained fighters to create a larger-than-life battle scene.
A source from the production shared, “Kantara: Chapter 1 will have one of the most ambitious war sequences ever filmed. Rishab Shetty will spend 45-50 days shooting in Karnataka’s rugged mountain region to deliver a grand cinematic experience.”
Rishab Shetty’s Hardcore Prep For The Scene
Shetty has spent months training for the action sequences. He has learned horse riding, Kalaripayattu, and sword fighting to make the battle scenes look more realistic. His character will introduce unique combat styles never seen before.
Set during the reign of the Kadambas of Banavasi, the film blends history and mythology. Reports suggest Shetty will play a Naga Sadhu with supernatural abilities, adding a mystical twist to the story.
