Chhaava, the upcoming historical drama featuring Vicky Kaushal, might not be hitting theatres this December as initially planned. According to our sources, the team is considering pushing the release to early 2025 to avoid clashing with Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2.
Currently, Pushpa 2 is set to release on December 5, while Chhaava was initially lined up for December 6. This close release timing could have led to an intense box-office competition. Now, it seems that Maddock Films is rethinking the date to give both films a better chance to succeed.

Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film is based on Shivaji Sawant’s Marathi novel Chhava, which explores the life and struggles of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the brave son of Chhatrapati Shivaji.
