Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta’s 2004 classic, Veer-Zaara, is all set for a massive re-release across more than 600 screens overseas on November 7. This will mark the film’s return to cinemas just five days before its 20th anniversary.
The re-release promises not only nostalgia but also a brand-new experience for fans, with the previously deleted song “Yeh Hum Aa Gaye Hai Kahaan” now added to the print. The song, which was missing in the original release, will finally be seen in all its glory on the big screen.
Shah Rukh Khan Veer-Zaara To Release For The 1st Time In THESE Countries
The most exciting news is the film’s debut in several Middle Eastern countries. For the first time, Veer-Zaara will be screened in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Oman, with Yash Raj Films (YRF) making a major push to bring the film to these new territories. The re-release also comes with a special poster celebrating this milestone.
Sources told Bollywood Hungama that YRF has gone all out with this re-release, which will be available on over 600 screens across foreign markets, making it possibly the biggest overseas re-release ever for a Bollywood film.
Along with Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Oman, the film will also be shown in countries like the USA, Canada, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, the UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Singapore, Malaysia, and South Africa.
Advance Booking Has Already Started In Germany
In Germany, where early bookings have already started, the response has been overwhelming, with reports of strong ticket sales. Given the film’s popularity, Veer-Zaara is expected to draw packed audiences worldwide, with some cinemas even anticipating house-full shows this weekend.
November is likely to be a big month for Shah Rukh Khan. Following his 59th birthday celebrations on November 2, Veer-Zaara’s re-release will be followed by another iconic film, Karan Arjun (1995), which is set to re-release worldwide on November 22. Both re-releases are part of a tribute to Khan’s incredible legacy in the film industry.
