Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri’s upcoming film, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, is all set to begin its first shooting schedule in January 2025. This highly anticipated film will be released on December 5, 2025, and has already generated a lot of excitement. The movie will also feature Nana Patekar and Randeep Hooda in important roles.
Shahid Kapoor & Triptii Dimri’s Film To Kick Off 1st Schedule In South Mumbai
Sources revealed to Bollywood Hungama that the first schedule will take place at Ballard Pier in South Mumbai. A massive set is being built for the film, where key scenes will be shot over 20-25 days. All the main cast members, including Shahid, Triptii, Nana, and Randeep, will be part of the schedule.
Mustafa Stationwala (known for his work on films like Laal Singh Chaddha (2022), Hindi Medium (2017), and Airlift (2016)) is designing the set. The aim is to make the set grand yet authentic to the story. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala is working closely with Bhardwaj to ensure the set meets high standards and supports the film’s storyline.
Shahid To Play A 90s Gangster In The Film
Shahid will play Hussain Ustara, a notorious gangster, marking his return to working with director Vishal Bhardwaj. The two previously worked together on Haider and Kaminey, both of which were highly praised. This film will also be Triptii Dimri’s first time working with Shahid Kapoor on screen.
The movie is expected to be an action-packed thriller, with the first shooting schedule setting the tone for the entire project. Both Bhardwaj and Nadiadwala are focused on completing the shoot efficiently and moving quickly into post-production to ensure the film is ready for its December 2025 release.
Sajid Nadiadwala’s Other Projects
Meanwhile, Sajid Nadiadwala’s production house Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment is preparing for a busy 2025. In addition to Bhardwaj’s untitled film, the banner will release Salman Khan’s Sikandar on Eid. They also have a multi-starrer comedy Housefull 5 in June and Baaghi 4, with Tiger Shroff in September. Sajid Nadiadwala is the only producer who has multiple major releases planned without any collaborations.
There are reports of Sikandar teaser and first look reveal on Salman Khan’s birthday, December 27.
